Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing – NIPT is a simple, safe and highly advanced prenatal genetic screening test. It examines the baby’s DNA circulating in the mother’s blood stream, to assess the risk of chromosomal abnormalities in pregnancy and ensure a healthy baby, as early as 10 weeks.
This test also identifies the gender of your baby, earlier than any pregnancy ultrasound. Every pregnant woman should perform NIPT, as per the recommendation of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the American College of Genetics and Genomics (ACMG).
